The set consists of a metal, decorative tin and a clay mass. The clay is ready to use right out of the box. It is soft, delicate and plastic, so making an imprint even for the youngest child will not be a problem. Making an imprint is very simple. The clay should be removed from the foil and kneaded in your hand for about 1 minute, then form a ball, which should be rolled out into a circle slightly larger than the can lid. With the help of the lid, you can carve out a suitable circle from the mass and put it into the can. After the foot or handprint has been taken, the name of the child and / or the date of the execution may be written with a toothpick or the like. The print should be left for about 4 days until it is fully dry. The mass drying should not be accelerated (e.g. in an oven or on a radiator), as this may cause the mass to crack.
The set includes a certificate with the name, age and date of execution. It can be stuck to the bottom of the lid or cans.
